On this, the occasion of the winter solstice 2011, the sonic elders of YURT bestow upon you a construct - ARCHIPELAGOG. Conceived in cryopreservation and auricularly manifested through progressive oscillation, this wretched behemoth hereby receives a terrestrial presentation for your listening pleasure. The sonic elders of YURT have spoken.
YURT gathered at the dusk of 2006 with a criteria of conducting experiments in the broader field of progressive rock music. The Sonic Elders Of Yurt have spoken.

Believe the hype. This band and this album are every bit as good as everyone says they are.
One 40 minute track of fuzzed out 70’s Stoner Doom. You can smell the dry ice and weed coming out of yer speakers! Crinklechips
The Dublin trio melds post-rock and jazz, adding electronic touches, for a signature sound that's energetic, spacious, and resonant. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 2, 2019

This band produces souch more than music. It's a freakin interstellar journey set to rolling, pounding drums, deep, unwavering bass lines & light/heavy/screaming guitar... always with vocals helping paint a picture of the journey made. Every K.B. album is psych rock perfection (imo). My pick as "favorite" is only because I saw the live version on their "Quarantine Sessions" that eventually made my head explode (think "Scanners")! Love this band. And I'm not really a psych rock guy. Until now! Steve
